Isabella Corsetry - Josephine Corset (Black Satin)
PERSONAL COLLECTION
Brand new Josephine corset from Isabella Corsetry. Purchased several years ago, only worn for try on and kept in storage since. It has not been seasoned (broken-in) or worn for longer than 5 minutes.
This is the standard/longline style of the Josephine, NOT the Petite Josephine style.
This is a gorgeously made, authentic waist-training corset from a highly respected brand. My Petite Josephine corsets are some of my favorites in my corset collection, but I knew from the first try-on that this style is too long for me!
Solid black satin. Edwardian-inspired longline cut with a conical rib.
Total center front length measures approx 12".
Side front/princess seam length measures approx 10".
Features 6 to 18 spiral steel bones plus 4 flat steel bones.
Lined and inner lined with cotton twill.
Built-in modesty panel.
Satin laces (the laces show a bit of creasing from try-on and from the corset being laced in storage, but they can be easily replaced with a long satin ribbon or cord of your choice). Replacement laces in any color can be purchased from Orchard Corset for $13.50
Size 20” waist. This is an XS corset.
Depending on how much “squish” you have in your midsection, and how experienced you are with waist training corsets, you may need to wear this corset with a lacing gap of 1-3”.
In order for this to fit you, you must have the following measurements:
Natural waist: 23”-26”.
Underbust (bra band area): 27”-29”
High hip: 31”-33”
Full hip: 35”-37”
Torso length: 11”+ measured from underbust to lap, sitting down
